Game in the Rye - IV year

This is the first novel of the American writer J. D. Salinger. He experienced immense popularity among teenage audiences, as he dealt with themes of turbulent youth life such as rebellion, loneliness, alienation, confusion and revolt against the existing course of things.

Much of the literary criticism was against the explicit street slang used in the book, as well as against Caulfield's attitudes and thoughts regarding sex. Apart from those topics, a series of other complex issues such as identity, belonging, interconnections and loneliness are opened up in "Game of Rye".

The publication is reading material for the fourth year of secondary education.
