Bojan" is a novel for children and young people by the Macedonian writer Gligor Popovski.

The novel describes the experiences of the child Bojan during his stay in his grandfather Dimo's mountain hut. After sending his grandfather to the village, Bojan was left alone in the hut and had to take care of the cattle. Meanwhile, he befriended the old man, Grandpa Ivan; he had to fight the wolves, the heavy snow and the cold, and he managed to save an injured doe. After a few days, his parents arrived at the hut and found an already exhausted Bojan.

In the spring, two learned people from Skopje came to the village, and Bojan became friends with the child Denko. Once, they saved the girl Irinka, who almost drowned. After some time, the girl Elena arrived in the village. Unfortunate events happened soon: two shepherds were killed by a lightning strike, and then Bojan had to part with grandfather Ivan, who fell ill and took him to the city. One day, Bojan and Denko climbed the rocky peak of Orelska Chuka, and Elena got angry with Bojan for not taking her with her. Due to some urgent matters, the learned people had to return to the city, so Bojan did not get to say goodbye to Elena. However, she left him a letter in which she complained about the bad treatment towards him. Unfortunately for her, Bojan climbed Orelska Chuka for the second time, this time alone. At the end of the summer, he received a letter and a photo from Elena, and then, with a heavy heart, he had to leave the mountain and return to the city.

The publication is optional reading for the eighth grade.
