The Super Gou is an extremely good knife with superior cutting capabilities and a great look and finish
Super Gou has a core of SG2 Micro-Carbide powder Stainless steel with a hardness of super 63HRC, a total of 161 layers of iron, 80 layers on each side. All this gives it a recognizable damask pattern on the surface of the blade.
The handle is made of black red micarta with a total of 3 metal rivets. The material is FDA approved for food and is known to be highly resistant to use. The handle is hand finished to a brilliant shine and will last for decades, it has a metal finish that gives the knife better balance in use.
All elements of the knife give an exceptional appearance to the knife, but it also of course possesses incomparable cutting properties.
The blade itself is engraved with the name of the series as is the metal end of the handle.
The knife is intended for processing all types of food, i.e. for cutting, crushing, properly chopping vegetables, fruit, meat, fish and other food.
It is handmade in Seki City Japan
Maintenance by rinsing in water with less detergent
The knife should be protected from shocks or drops on the floor. The knife is not intended to be struck against.
Do not wash in the dishwasher!
